You have decided to start your trial. Here are the steps you need to follow to make sure you and your students are ready to go.
Why do we need to do this?
You need to follow these steps in order to set up your school's subscription but also to make sure that teachers and students can start using the platform effectively as soon as possible.
Who can do this?
Any member of staff who is happy to become the Admin of the subscription. There can be more than one Admin on the subscription, so responsibility can be shared.
What comes before?
Before creating teacher and student accounts, it's a good idea to check with your IT team that emails from noreply@theeverlearner.com arenβt being blocked by your schoolβs system. That way, users will get their login details straight to their inbox without any issues.
Steps
- Go to the register for free trial page and fill in the form with your details and your school's details.
- Once your trial subscription has been created, you will receive an email from us containing your login details and the next steps to getting set up with your account. Check your spam/junk folder if you can't find this!
- Log in with the details we sent you in step 2 or you can log in using SSO (single sign-on) if your school is a Microsoft or Google school.
- Create the rest of your teacher accounts for your department.
- Create student accounts.
- Create groups.
Please note: Access to courses is only gained when you are a student or a teacher in a group that has the course(s) assigned. Therefore, you will see that you won't have access to any courses before groups have been created.
Once the users and groups are created, it should be ready to go. If you need any support setting up your trial account, please get in touch.
