In this article, we look at how teachers and students can view a detailed breakdown of exam questions via the 'Exam data' tab on the dashboard.
Why is this useful?
For teachers, it is good to be able to identify areas for improvement in students' knowledge, either for an individual student, or to spot patterns and potential 'gaps' in knowledge across a group.
For students, it is crucial that they can identify areas where they demonstrate a good understanding, as well knowing which particular topics they should revisit, either by speaking to their teacher and revisiting this in lessons and/or accessing tutorials, practice and test quizzing, checkpoints or further exam practice on the platform.
What comes before?
For teachers to view this, they must be a Teacher, HoD or Admin on the site. A group you teach must have been set at least one exam assignment, and this exam must have been marked and released back to the student. See here for how to set an exam, how to mark an online exam or how to mark a printable exam,
For students to view this, they must have completed an exam, either online or printable, and it must have been released to the student online.
You can also view exam data from the 'assignments' tab via the data dashboard.
