In this article we learn how to delete groups on The EverLearner.
Why do we need to do this?
Deleting groups allows you to permanently delete a group and all of its associated data. Note: Once a group is deleted, it cannot be restored. If you think you may want to access the group again in the future, it's best to leave it archived instead.
Who can do this?
- Admin
- HoD
What comes before?
The group you want to delete must have already been archived (see here for how to archive groups)
- You must be logged in and be an Admin or HoD.
- Choose 'Admin > Groups' in the top panel.
- Click the pencil icon to the right of any active group's name.
- Go to the grey 'Archived groups' panel on the left-hand side
- Click the 'eye' symbol to the right of the name of the group you want to delete.
- When the group details open, click on the grey text 'Delete group' in the top right-hand corner.
- When prompted, confirm by clicking on the red 'Yes, proceed' button.
